Our source
Every can of Original Kanna™ is made with kanna (Sceletium tortuosum) from The Sceletium Source (Sceletium Source Africa (Pty) Ltd) in Wilderness, in South Africa’s Western Cape. They are our supply partner, and we source all of our kanna from them.
What our supplier certifies
- They are the manufacturer of record for the kanna extract.
- All kanna is grown, processed and manufactured in South Africa.
- Extracts are produced in GMP-compliant production labs.
- Every batch can be tracked, and third-party lab results are available for all products.
- They hold CapeNature export and protected-flora permits, and their facility is registered with the U.S. FDA.
Our ingredient: MT55®
MT55® is The Sceletium Source’s standardized Sceletium tortuosum extract. Standardizing it keeps the alkaloid content consistent from batch to batch, so every can delivers the same full 25mg dose. The full ingredient specification will be published alongside our batch certificates.
Batch certificates of analysis
Each production lot of Original Kanna™ will be tested by an independent lab, and the certificate will be posted here. Testing covers the alkaloid profile, heavy metals, microbiology and pesticide residues. The batch number on your can will match its certificate.
