What is kanna?
Kanna (Sceletium tortuosum) is a succulent plant from South Africa’s Western Cape. The San and Khoikhoi peoples have used it for centuries, and it has been traded since at least the 1600s. Original Kanna™ brings it to a sparkling, ready-to-drink can.
What does Original Kanna feel like?

How much should I drink?
Start with one can. Sip it slowly and give it time before you decide whether to have another. Always follow the serving guidance on the label.
Does it contain alcohol, THC, hemp or caffeine?
No. Original Kanna™ contains no alcohol, no THC, no hemp and no caffeine.
Can I drink it if I take medication?
Do not use Original Kanna™ together with SSRIs, MAOIs, benzodiazepines or CNS depressants. Speak to your doctor before use if you have a medical condition or take any prescription medication. Like grapefruit juice, ginkgo biloba, garlic supplements, vitamin E, turmeric and ginger, kanna can interact with certain medications. See our product label warning →
Can I drink it if I’m pregnant or nursing?
No. Do not use Original Kanna™ if you are pregnant or nursing.

Is it tested?
Yes. Each production lot will be tested by an independent lab, and certificates of analysis will be posted on our Quality & Sourcing page, starting with our first production run.
